The 8 Rules of Composition
Rule of thirds - using thirds of the screen to highlight focus points. Leading Lines - using lines as a main image focus. Cropping - Cropping an image to show detail, cutting out parts of an image. Deep Depth of Field - The entire background is visible, there is no field blur in the image. Horizon Line - Wide shots using a flat surface on the horizon to make and show an impact in the photo. Point of View - Photos taken from a human point of view or an interesting angled shot to create an interesting view and scale. Background control (Shallow Depth Of Field) - Controlling the focus of background or foreground to highlight upon an object - Framing - using something natural to frame the main focus point of an image -
