Pin Hole Camera Photography

Pin Hole cameras are small holes in light limiting boxes that can let a certain amount of light into the box onto some photo paper, which reacts to light.

This means that photos taken in pinhole cameras can add nice effects, as they have long exposure times. Any movement in the photo will create a blurry effect, which makes car lights at night interesting. This also means that you can use light to your advantage, setting the camera up in a low light place will create an interesting photo as light moves around in the area.

To create a pinhole camera, it is very simple. All you need is a black, dark box. This box must not let any light into it at all, and must be completely black on the inside to prevent light spill/ This box will have a hole for the pinhole, and a lens slider to open the hole. Then you need to cut a square from a can, and poke a pinhole through it. Then you can stick that into the hole in the box, and slide some photo paper at the back of the box which will reflect the light into a photo presented on the paper.

These photos have a large exposure, and they can create photos with a very large field of view. This creates some very interesting photos, as they have large unnatural curves on them. This can create some surreal photos, and can show a great depth of field, making things look either much closer or much further away.
