Photography - Image sizes, Lightroom and editing

 RAW images are useful as they are completely uncompressed. This means no lossy or lossless compression making the image a lower quality.

Exposure - 

Under exposure is when an image does not have enough light.

Over exposure is when an image has too much light.

Histogram tool checks exposure. Use Command O to get to the histogram.

 Rule of thirds - using thirds of the screen to highlight focus points. Leading Lines - using lines as a main image focus. Cropping - Cropping an image to show detail, cutting out parts of an image. Deep Depth of Field - The entire background is visible, there is no field blur in the image. Horizon Line - Wide shots using a flat surface on the horizon to make and show an impact in the photo. Point of View - Photos taken from a human point of view or an interesting angled shot to create an interesting view and scale. Futurism

Futurism is an avant-garde movement founded in 1909 by an Italian poet known as Filipino Marinetti. It is an art movement that focuses on the power and vitality of the machine and modern life. These art expressions usually revolved around painting or sculpture. The art style is when contemporary things in the world are stylised through photography to have a futuristic feel to them. For example, the shots would be long exposure, so that light trails in the image give the photo a futuristic touch, whilst being only a camera technique. Futurist photographers also make use of lines very frequently, for example, they would use more modern appearing buildings with flat lines.
